The artist behind the wheel
My love of clay began as a child when I was introduced to ceramic painting by my grandmother, Naomi.
I graduated college with a degree in Graphic Design,
but while there, was reintroduced to pottery and fell in love
with the whole creation process from start to finish.
Years later, the opportunity presented itself to work under
the tutelage of a dear friend, and here, learned the skills
needed to open a successful hobby-business for several years.
Now, after a 7-year hiatus to homeschool, I am back in the pottery studio creating again. I guess I'm just meant to be here!
Love of the clay is a new business venture, launched from a new vision of using pottery to help others and hopefully make a difference.

Celebrating creation, love, generosity & hope
Driven by a larger purpose, Love of the Clay exists to not only provide beautiful, functional pottery in the home, but also to bring awareness to ministries that work with women & men, lifting them out of poverty or desperation...offering love, support & hope through
goodness in the name of Christ.

Proceeds of several pottery product lines, including
Mugs for Mercy & Mission keychains, go directly to these ministries, while the in-person shop offers additional Fair Trade gift items. These purchases support individual craftsmen & women making a difference in the lives of their families & communities.
